For those who like to rock, for those who like to dance, for those who like to sing, The Photo Atlas is your cure. This punk rock band from the uniquely un-punk rock town of Denver, CO will get you to do all three.

The lead off track “Electric Shock”, if you pardon the old rock cliché, hits you like an electric shock. Beginning to end, through the melodic “Light and Noise”, the heartfelt and encouraging “Cutback”, and the powerful “Handshake Heart Attack”, this debut cd will get you dancing.

The whole cd is littered with touches of Bloc Party, Interpol, and the Arcade Fire. Now if mainstream radio can take notice like college radio did, they’ll be the next big thing. This is a definite buy for anyone who calls themselves punk.
